I really like sandwiches. In fact, I'm borderline obsessed with finding new and exciting subs, hoagies, grinders, melts, and anything else you might call meat and/or cheese between two slices of bread - an obsession I began cultivating at a young age. The sandwich has a democratizing effect on any and all ingredients, often bringing together both high felutin and lower brow ingredients together in perfect harmony for the sake of flavor. This is an ode to the humble sandwich and all its various incarnations around New York City, in my home kitchen and beyond. I am also a formally trained photographer, all photos are mine unless otherwise noted. The Sandwich is the medium, that's my message.
